CD-ROM. Is the version number 2.04 or higher?
If yes, you do NOT need to perform this update. 
to go to the most current update available for After the Fact Payroll.
If no, please continue on this page. |
| 1. Perform the installation
routine for After the Fact Payroll for Windows
for tax year 2002. Use the CD-ROM you received in the mail, and follow
the installation instructions you received with that CD-ROM. Then,
remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive. |
| 2. Install the
update. To get started, replace the 3 1/2 inch diskette containing
the update you downloaded in drive
a: |
| --Click on
"My Computer". Then click on floppy drive a: |
| --Double click on "A:QEAFT02_04182002.exe" --
a self-extracting file will open and ask you where you want the update
installed. For most users, this will be the default location
(c:\program files\qeaft-2002). (If this folder isn't
where the program was originally installed, use the "Browse"
capability to locate the directory). |
| --Now, click on "UNZIP" -- this will replace the old program module and
database with the
update. |
| --When installation is completed
-- this takes only a second or two -- click on "OK" followed by
"CLOSE". |
| 3. Bring your data
forward (transfer or convert) from
2001 if you were a Quick & Easy After the Fact Payroll user
for tax year 2001. |
